The different types of CPAP masks

The CPAP masks are divided into nose masks, mouth and nose masks, nose and pillow masks (nasal congestion masks), full face masks, mouth masks (masks) and helmet masks, which are generally composed of the main body, sealing pad, interface and headband.

1.Nasal CPAP Mask

Patients with sleep apnea who are suitable for open mouth breathing and patients with nasal blockage, dry mouth and nose and air leakage should also choose oral and nasal masks.

3.Nasal pillow CPAP mask

Disadvantages: The expiratory tidal volume monitoring is not reliable; Air leakage during breathing; Nasal irritation

The entire face is covered, suitable for patients with air leakage that other masks cannot solve, and patients with facial or nasal trauma or anatomical abnormalities.
