Guedel Airway Tube

Guedel Airway Oropharyngeal Airway is divided into various models according to the patient's age, weight and anatomical changes.

1. Red: Red oropharyngeal airways are mostly used in adult males.

2. Yellow: The yellow oropharyngeal airway is suitable for adult women.

3. Other colors: Oropharyngeal airways of other colors can be reasonably selected based on the patient's development, weight, and anatomical variations.

Airway Oropharyngeal Guedel is usually made of rubber or plastic, but can also be made of metal or other elastic materials. The commonly used oropharyngeal airways in clinical practice are oval hollow plastic tubes with an "S" shape, including a wing edge, a tooth pad part, and a pharyngeal curvature part. Wing: There is a protruding outer edge at the outer end of the mouth to prevent swallowing and insertion too deep.

Bite pad part: The width of the bite part where the bite pad part contacts the teeth should be wide enough to contact two to three teeth, so that the occlusal pressure can be evenly distributed to the contacted teeth.

Pharyngeal Flexure: The curvature of the oral end of the pharyngeal flexure adapts to the anatomy of the mouth, tongue, and posterior pharynx.
